I celebrated 5 years working from home this week. 🥳
•5 years living life on my own terms!
•5 years of not having to ask “a boss” for days off to attend my son’s field trips or school events.
•5 years of spending every moment and milestone with my kids!
•5 years traveling to new places!
•5 years breaking through my comfort zone!
•5 years no longer living paycheck to pay check!
•5 years living happier because I am healthier, inside and out!
•5 years being the CEO of my life!
•5 years growing and mastering my mindset!
5 years helping other people live the life they deserve too. 💕
Time is going to pass. Make sure you’re living the life you’ve always dreamed of! ...
So true. 💕 Aren’t some of our greatest memories and moments from #giving to others?
Some of the best gifts to give, we don’t even need to spend our money on.
Giving of our time.
Giving of our skills.

It’s the most wonderful time of the year! ❤️🖤🎄
We decided to open our family PJ’s early this year because we wanted to enjoy them sooner than Christmas Eve! As you can see in the video, the kids were ecstatic! Christmas jammies are their favorite gift every year and one of our favorite memories. 🎁
Do you do matching pjs? When do you open them? ...
Thankful for our amazing weekend in Vegas (again) with family. I am so grateful we live somewhere I love and be in driving distance of my hometown. I have so much fun going home and seeing everybody but I just don’t enjoy living there. Every visit is full of good times and fun. We played endless games and ate way too much food 😋 Hanging with my fam fills up my tank❤️👏🏼 I have the best family! My hubby loves them too 😘🥳🦃🥂 I hope everyone enjoyed an amazing weekend no matter how you spent it. 🧡 ...
Last Saturday..🐔 Tree climbing and chicken chasing. 💙💙
This sweet red hen is a #rhodeislandred. We have 2 and they are both very docile. Their names are RED and CLARICE (from Rudolph) lol. They look identical, so in order to tell them apart we have a little red bracelet on one hen’s leg. 🐓❤️

In the video, my son is feeding the hens scraps from our kitchen. One of my favorite perks of having chickens is being able to feed them scraps so nothing goes to waste around here. They eat everything from veggies and fruit to bugs around the yard!
Speaking of waste.. even their chicken 💩 gets used around here! Chicken 💩 is one of the BEST manures you can use in your garden! We compost it and put it in our garden in spring! 🌸

We have made it 19 months breastfeeding! 🤱🏼💙 Why breastfeed a toddler?
•29% energy requirements
•43% protein requirements
•36% calcium requirements
•75% vitamin A requirements
•76% folate requirements
•94% vitamin B12 requirements
•60% Vitamin C requirements
Breastfeeding a toddler helps protect the Mother from ovarian and uterine and endometrial cancer.
Breastfeeding a toddler eases frustrations and daily stresses. Increases emotional stability and increased independence. There is even evidence of higher IQ, and less antisocial behavior in breastfed toddlers.
Past one years old the antibodies provided by breastmilk continue to be valuable protection to the toddlers immune system. It strengthens, teeth, eyes, bones, limbs and keeps your toddler hydrated. The immunological benefits actually INCREASE during the second and third years of nursing. 💛
✨If you are breastfeeding a toddler (kudos to you) and if you know someone who is support them, cheer them on, or at least keep your mouth shut and don’t ask them “when will you be done breastfeeding”, “he is still breastfeeding”???!
This is your kind reminder to mind your own business because each momma is doing the best they can! ❤️👏🏼

Have you ever heard of the Sugar Fairy?
After Halloween, the Sugar Fairy comes to our home to collect all the candy from Halloween night to help her make it through the cold winter! 🥶
The kids pick 5 pieces from their trick or treat bag and the rest is left out for the Sugar Fairy. In exchange for the candy, she leaves behind a fun surprise! 💝🍭 🎃 👻
Once I had kids, I began to dread trick or treating because we try to eat as healthy as we can and avoid artificial flavors, dyes and sugars when possible so, the thought of having unneeded BAGS of candy in our home made me cringe. 🤮🤣
However, I also like to have fun and make memories and I didn’t want to have to say no to trick or treating since it was one of my favorite memories growing up.
Fortunately, I found this fun idea when my son was 2 years old. Each year he looks forward to exchanging his candy for a surprise! He now reminds ME that he has to leave his candy out with a note. 🍭 🍬
It Is the perfect tradition to do if your household likes to limit sugar because it gets all the artificial sugars and dyes out of your home and gives something for your kids to look forward to!
Tips:
You can pick any gift. In the past The Fairy has left stickers, $5, coloring books, or arts and crafts. The gifts can be whatever you choose. This year she picked Scooby-Doo Mystery Machine because the boys have been into solving mysteries🧡
What do we do with the candy?
We toss some, fairy’s husband eats some and we save some for Christmas gingerbread house decorating!! 🍭
What do you do with all the candy in your home after Halloween?
